IT Assistant
Company Structure:
You will work as part of a team. Each team has a Manager plus other team members with various levels of qualification and experience.
A separate service company provides clerical and administration support.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Create basic systems and databases based on user requirements.
- Install and support software packages.
- Install and support PC and peripherals.
- Administer and enhance existing systems.
- Identify and fix faults with hardware and software.
- Perform tasks to a high standard, to specification and in a timely fashion.
- Investigate user problems and suggest a course of corrective action.
- Use querying tools to isolate and extract data for reports.
- Provide training for colleagues and users.
- Other duties that reasonably correspond to the general character of the position and/or requested by Management.
- Comply with relevant policies and procedures of the CS2 Group. Examples include compliance with data protection, health and safety legislation and best practises.
Required skills/qualifications:
- Proficient at installation and configuration of equipment and systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of hardware and software operation.
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
Excellent communication skills to discuss user requirements.
- Clear and concise command of English
- Good personal organisation
Preferred skills:
- Good keyboard skills
- Project management
