Security Executive

Company Structure:

You will work as part of a security team who are responsible for the total security of our client¦s premises. Each team consists of four security officers and one supervisor with various levels of qualifications and experience.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • To ensure that the procedures for Health, Safety and Security of Premises, Employees and Visitors, at premises owned or rented by the Clients of the Company are maintained.
  • To maintain and update daily occurrence records on a computerised system.
  • The weekly testing of premises alarms and emergency facilities.
  • To provide front line First Aid on premises owned or rented by the clients of the company.
  • Administrational and Clerical tasks as reasonably requested by your supervisors and managerial staff.
  • The attendance at training courses and training days that the company request of employees to gain the standard of qualifications required of a quality security officer.
  • The answering of company and clients telephones

After consultation with you, your duties may be varied from time to time to meet the needs of the job, provided that any such variations are not unreasonable and are consistent with your other duties.

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Pass the strict BS7858 Vetting procedure
  • Hold a full, clean driving license
  • Basic job training in Static and Patrol Guarding, or, NVQ level 2 qualification in security
  • Current First Aid certificate holder
  • Current Fire Warden certificate holder
  • Current Health and Safety certificate holder
  • Good all round education and telephone manner
  • Good telephone manner
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Clear and concise command of English
  • Good personal organisation

Preferred skills:

  • Previous Security, or, Military Skills
  • Good keyboard skills
